1. After the cutting machine is installed, turn on the power to check whether the rotation of each part of the whole machine is flexible and whether the fasteners are loose.
2. Turn on the power, press the host button, whether the blade turns in the same direction as the arrow. If reversed, adjust immediately. After the inspection is completed, the rock sample can be clamped for cutting. When clamping the rock sample, a reliable clamping point should be selected to prevent false clamping and false clamping. In order to avoid damage to the tool and rock sample due to rock movement during the cutting process.
3. When clamping irregular rocks, it can be clamped by the top pressure method. Clamping steps: first place the rock sample 8 flat on the workbench, then insert the top pressure moving fixture 10 along the T-shaped slot 3, select the distance between the fixture and the rock sample, lock the clamp base screw, and move the ejector rod up and down Bolt 13 to select a reliable clamping point, then lock the ejector rod moving nut 11, and then rotate the ejector rod until the ejector rod pushes the rock sample to death, and tighten the ejector rod nut 12 at the same time to prevent the ejector rod from cutting medium loose.
4. When cutting the core sample, if there are many rocks, you can press several rock samples with the long pressure plate attached to the machine and cut them together to improve work efficiency. The clamping method is as follows: put the rock sample 8 flat on the working surface. On the platform 6, insert the clamping plate bolts along the T-shaped slot 3, insert one end of the long clamping plate 9 into the square hole on the vertical surface of the workbench, rotate the adjusting screw 7 and the nut 10 of the clamping plate bolts, and the rock sample can be compressed. If there is a slight error in the diameter of the core sample, a strip of thin wood can be added above the rock sample so that the long pressing plate can be pressed to the rock sample. This method is also applied when clamping cut-off cuboid and cube rock samples.
5. When working, first start the main motor, and then press the work feed button. When starting to cut, because the rocks are mostly irregular shapes, the feed speed should be slow at this time. After the blade edge has completely entered the rock sample, it can be slightly faster. .
6. The cutter advances and retreats automatically. When the cutter moves to the end along the worktable, it can automatically retreat to the starting end and stop moving automatically. If you need to go back during the work, just press the rewind button on the console. It needs to move forward during fast rewind, and press the work feed button can also enter the tool. Regardless of whether the knife is entering or withdrawing, the cutting knife can stop moving by pressing the stop button. When working, if you find that the cutter is far away from the rock sample, you can press the fast-forward button (hold down) or jog to fast-forward, and release the button when the blade is close to the rock sample. Then press the work button again to perform normal cutting. This shortens the feed assist time.
7. When cutting the test piece, the feed speed can be adjusted according to the hardness of the rock before work. Adjusting the feed speed during the cutting process may cause knife marks. When cutting hard rocks according to experience, the speed is generally 40mm/ points or so.
