A brief introduction to the die cutter

A die-cutting rule is also called a beer knife, or an indentation knife; it refers to a sheet material made of steel with a blade on the top for die-cutting.

The performance of the die-cutting knife requires uniform steel texture, appropriate hardness combination of the blade body and the blade edge, accurate specifications, and quenching treatment of the blade edge. The blade hardness of a high-quality die-cutting knife is usually significantly higher than that of the blade body, which is not only easy to shape, but also provides a longer die-cutting life.

The thickness of the die cutter is adapted according to the product requirements. The commonly used thicknesses are 0.51mm, 0.71mm, 0.85mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 1.8mm and other specifications. The common height (width) is 23.5mm, 23.8mm mm, 28.5mm, etc., if die-cutting thick materials, the die-cutting blade and the pressure line should be thickened appropriately.

The thickness of the die-cutting knife, the commonly used thickness is 0.45mm self-adhesive knife, the height is 7mm, 8, mm, 9.5mm, 10mm, etc., usually 8mm knife height, 6mm rubber plate thickness.

According to different functions, die cutting knives can be divided into flat die cutting knives, circular die cutting knives (such as pointed knives, Youli knives, etc.), special effect knives (such as point line knives, corrugated knives, etc.).
